Guiding you to your goals.
Private coaching and small classes: personal finance, time management, project planning and habits.
A Bit about Me
Teacher, mentor, partner.
I am a professor, wife and homeschooling mom of two. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University in 2008. I have been successfully mentoring students and coaching clients throughout my career. I help people who want to improve in the areas of personal finance, time-management, organization, achieving goals or forming better habits. The articles that I share here introduce structure to the decision-making process and encourage self-motivation to follow through. Small group classes and one-on-one coaching sessions expand on these topics, either virtually or in-person. Read, subscribe and follow me on social media!

Academics & Experience
Each is valuable only when combined
When it comes to coaching clients, my academic credentials are only part of the story. Life experience is the best teacher and I freely admit that I had to learn many of life's lessons the hard way. Before earning my Ph.D. and becoming a professor, I was a high school dropout, runaway, foster kid, married and divorced young. I did a lot of dumb stuff in the years between getting my GED and my Ph.D. I got knocked down a lot, but I kept getting back up. Mentors have made all the difference.
